Examples of Student Misconduct
- Alcohol use, possession or distribution on campus
- Use, possession, and/or sale of controlled substances or illegal drugs
- Interpersonal violence, threats of violence, or stalking
- Physical assault including rape or other sexual assault
- Possession/use of weapons
- Forgery/misuse of I. D. or records; providing false information to the University
- Theft or possession of stolen property
- Misuse of or unauthorized entry into University property
- Vandalism
- Violation of Cal Poly Computer Use policies regarding computing facilities, resources, or e-mail
- Academic dishonesty including plagiarism and cheating
- Obstruction or disruption of teaching, research, administration, or other University activities
- Hazing
