The Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities (OSRR)
addresses student behavioral problems as defined by the California Code of Regulations, Title 5, Article 2, Section 41301. OSRR employs a developmental and educational approach to facilitate and encourage respect for the campus community and to provide learning experiences for students who participate in the disciplinary process. Whenever possible, situations are resolved in ways that seek to foster the ethical development of students.
OSRR supports the educational mission of the University by working with faculty who refer students for cheating, plagiarism, disruptive or threatening behavior.
OSRR promotes the personal development of students by working collaboratively with other campus offices and community agencies to provide students with appropriate resources.
