Cal Poly students are responsible for learning and upholding the Standards for Student Conduct.

 

Examples of Misconduct

Alcohol use, possession or distribution on campus
Use, possession, and/or sale of controlled substances or illegal drugs
Interpersonal violence, threats of violence, or stalking
Physical assault including rape or other sexual assault
Possession/use of weapons
Forgery/misuse of I. D. or records; providing false information to the University
Theft or possession of stolen property
Misuse of or unauthorized entry into University property
Vandalism
Violation of Cal Poly Computer Use policies regarding computing facilities, resources, or e-mail
Academic dishonesty including plagiarism and cheating
Obstruction or disruption of teaching, research, administration, or other University activities
Hazing
